Kim Do-wan Cast for "Start Up" With Nam Joo-hyuk

Actor Kim Do-wan has been cast for the new tvN drama "Start Up".

"Start Up" is a drama that depicts the beginning (START) and growth (UP) of young people who start their own businesses dreaming of success in Korea's Silicon Valley Sandbox. It is helmed by director Oh Choong-hwan and written by Park Hye-ryeon.

Kim Do-wan takes on the role of Kim Yong-san, Nam Do-san's (Nam Joo-hyuk) from from college. He is so passionate and empathetic that he quit a well-known conglomerate job and jumped into Samsantec. With his best friends Do-san and Cheol-san (Yoo Su-bin), he plans to paint a fresh page of his youth through the image of Yong-san.

Kim Do-wan recently starred in the MBC drama "She Knows Everything" as a rebellious Seo Tae-hwa, leaving a strong imprint in his career. He also starred in the JTBC drama "A Moment at Eighteen" as math genius Jo Sang-hoon.

Other than that, Kim Do-wan has shown exceptional performance in dramas "How to Buy a Friend", "Yellow", films "Miss and Mrs. Cops" and more.

"Start Up" starring Bae Suzy, Nam Joo-hyuk, Kim Seon-ho, Kang Han-na and Kim Do-wan, premieres in October.
