"River Where the Moon Rises" is a youth historical romance drama. It is about the innocent love between Princess Pyeong-kang (Kim So-hyun) and On-dal (Ji Soo) who created history with love.

As the rebirth of the love story of Princess Pyeong-kang and the fool On-dal, who everyone knows, Kim So-hyun, Ji Soo, Choi Yu-hwa, and Kang Ha-neul attract keen attention with the appearance of popular actors.

Kim Dong-young's role of Sa Poong-gae is son of Sa Woon-am, the commander of Sunnobu, and he is a friend who grew up with On-dal since childhood.
