Kim Hee-sun Donates 100 Million Won to Forest Fire Victims

Actress Kim Hee-sun donated 100 million won to support the victims of the forest fires and the reconstruction of the lost forest.

The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Shin Hee-young) announced that actress Kim Hee-sun donated 100 million won to the Red Cross in August to support victims of forest fires in Gangwon-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do.

According to the Red Cross, Kim Hee-sun donated to share the pain of neighbors who lost their homes due to unexpected forest fires and help them rebuild the forest. It added, "We hope that the struggling victims will return to their daily lives as soon as possible". The donations delivered by Kim Hee-sun will be used to support temporary housing facilities for victims and to reconstruct forests in affected areas through local Red Cross branches in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk, where forest fire damage occurred.
