Kim Hee-sun Plans Fan Meet-N-Greet in Japan

Korean actress Kim Hee-sun is poised to make her conquest of the Japanese mainland before the year is out. On an invitation from Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV, she held her first official press conference in Japan last August and will meet her fans for the first time in Tokyo on December 27 to repay their ever-growing admiration.

A multifarious selection of events will be enjoyed by some 1,000 fans expected, including a talk show, piano performance and singing. One-on-one interaction with her fans through games, gift exchanges and photo-ops will also be part of the fun.

"Sad Love Story", in which she co-starred with kwon Sang-woo, had been steadily popular with Japanese viewers since last April through September, during which it aired on Fuji TV, brining in a first viewer rating of 10.3 percent. Besides, with the mega blockbuster "The Myth", in which she starred with Jackie Chan, due out next year in Japan, her popularity is expected to carry well for years to come.
