"Modern Boy" will examine the social phenomenon of the "Modern Boy" and "modern girl" people who dressed and acted in ways that radically broke from traditional Korean culture in colonial-era Korea.

The film is being directed by Jeong Ji-woo, the talented director responsible for "Happy End" (1999) and "Blossom Again" ("Close to You") (2005). It is scheduled to start shooting at the end of May, with a release planned for early 2008.
