"Snowdrop" is a collaboration by JTBC's "SKY Castle" writer Yoo Hyeon-mi and writer Jo Hyeon-tak. It was previously planned under the name "Leehwa Women's University Dormitory". This is also the first drama Kim Hye-yoon chose since her impressive performance in the MBC drama "Extraordinary You".

"Snowdrop" is known to be based on the handwritten notes of a man who escaped from a political prison camp in North Korea. In 1987, when tear gas exploded like firecrackers, a bloody man jumped into a female college dormitory and a female student treats him thinking he's an activist student fighting for the generation.

Meanwhile, "Snowdrop" will be broadcast on JTBC.
