Kim Ji-soo Meets President Roh at Luncheon

Actress Kim Ji-soo attended a Blue House luncheon held for representatives from various cultural circles including cinema, performance, and publishing. After meeting President Roh Moo-hyun at the the luncheon, Kim had a short conversation with First Lady Kwon Yang-suk.
Kim was invited to the luncheon because of her contribution to promoting Korean culture worldwide through the lead role of her latest movie "This Charming Girl". The movie has received numerous accolades at various international film festivals, including the New Currents Award at the Pusan International Film Festival, the NETPAC Award at the Berlin Film Festival, the Special Mention Award at the Fribourg Film Festival in Switzerland, and the Jury's Award at the Deauville Film Festival.
Kim, who has been busy promoting the movie after her participation in the Deauville Film Festival, is currently reviewing scripts of new movies for her next role.
"We have received many offers for Kim to play another role since the release of 'This Charming Girl.' She is carefully choosing her next rolebecause her first movie has been very successful", said a person from Kim's agency.
