Sources say that he had a hard time because he couldn't eat or sleep. It was mentally exhausting, but when he showed signs of vomiting and other physical signs, his agency announced that he was unable to continue and quit, although the production tried to convince him to stay for 32 half-hour episodes.

Kim Jung-hyun didn't say he wanted to quit, but he showed no intention of continuing until final episode, so MBC and his agency had to give up.

MBC tried to stop him by considering cutting back the number of episodes, but they were afraid that he'd be in trouble if he continued anymore.

Kim Jung-hyun played the role of Cheon Soo-ho, a terminally ill chaebol whose co-star is Seohyun. Kim Jung-hyun was once cited for his attitude during the drama press event, and he's in the spotlight once again as he leaves the production.

Kim Jung-hyun's agency claimed he'd been getting medical help while filming the drama because he didn't want to compromise the drama. Efforts were made so that he could complete the drama, but his doctor ruled that he needs mental and physical rest.

There isn't going to be another Cheon Soo-ho. The drama will be edited so that he is naturally out of the picture. Kim Jung-hyun will stay on until he can finalize his character's story arc.
