Kim Ki-duk's "Arirang" and "Amen" both to come out soon

Kim Ki-duk's "ARIRANG - Movie" and "Amen" are being released side by side.

This special event, which is being held at Cinecube in Seoul, will go on for two weeks from December 8th to the 21st.

"ARIRANG - Movie" was first screened at the Cannes International Film Festival where it won 'Un Certain Regard'. This movie shows the daily life and thoughts of the director in a documentary fashion and contains critiques the movie industry.

"ARIRANG - Movie" was also awarded the 'Films on Art' award at Poland's New Horizons Film Festival and 'Best Documentary' at the Australian Brisbane Film Festival.

"Amen" was made by Kim Ki-duk while traveling all over Europe. It's somewhat of a road movie about a woman who loses her boyfriend and then travels around Europe to find him.

This movie premiered in September at the San Sebastian Film Festival and was shot with only one DSLR camera in Italy, France and other countries.

"Amen" is not going to be released via DVD, TV or VOD so this event is the last chance to get a glimpse of the movie.
