Kim Min-hee "Noh Hee-kyeong cast you in a drama while you were crying?"

Kim Min-hee explained the report about her being cast in a drama by Noh Hee-kyeong while she was crying.

On the MBC TV program "Nollowa" on the 27th of February, Kim Min-hee received the question, "Who made you so strongly resolute?" and she then revealed a story behind the drama "Goodbye Solo". She is known to have cried after she wasn't cast for a role in the drama, but then was offered one afterward.

Kim Min-hee explained, "That's a misunderstanding. We had several meetings and the writer liked me but the director didn't. I had high expectations since we had so many meetings".

After the meetings there weren't any follow-up calls so she called the writer Noh Hee-kyeong herself, only to find out that she had failed. She accepted it and didn't cry.

Kim Min-hee continued, "We had agreed to let it go and meet again some other time but then she called back and said she wanted to see me again. That's how I was cast on the drama".

After hearing this Kim Won-hee said, "You didn't cry but the fact that you called the writer yourself about the casting might have earned you points as an actress with enthusiasm".
