Kim Ok-vin's shocking transformation into a married woman in the "Thirst"

2008/02/14 | Permalink | Source

Actor Kim Ok-vin is transforming into a married woman in director Park Chan-wook's new film "Thirst".

A spokesman from her agency revealed on 12th that "Even though we haven't signed the formal contract yet, it's more than likely that Kim Ok-vin will starring in the "Thirst. The official signing of the contract will soon take place".

"Thirst" is based on the dangerous affair between a man who became a vampire and a married woman. Due to high exposure rate of the film, many female actors had rejected the role. Also the sex scenes with the male actor Song Kang-ho are expected to have high sexual references, making it even harder to find a right person for the role.

The staffs of the "Thirst" have high expectation toward Kim Ok-vin who had been displaying high potential in her previous works.

The spokesman said, "We are in the process of discussing few details regarding the exposure rates and general conditions regarding the contract".

At the moment, Kim Ok-vin has just finished shooting the "The Accidental Gangster and the Mistaken Courtesan" and is preparing to start shooting the "Thirst".
