Kim Soo-hyun in 'noir action'

2015/11/29 | 991 views | Permalink | Source

Top star Kim Soo-hyun is going to become a 'strong man'. He's lifting off the 'soft' image he's continued for a long time and becoming a character of the dark world.

Kim Soo-hyun took home several major awards this year with his performance in the SBS drama "My Love from the Star" last year and KBS 2TV "Producers" this year. He even took home the 2015 APAN Star Awards Best Actor prize on the 28th.

Kim Soo-hyun looked back on the success of his past two dramas and also mentioned his upcoming challenge. He said, "I am preparing to become a strong man" in the movie "Real".

This is Kim Soo-hyun's first movie in 3 years. Kim Soo-hyun takes on the role of a 'resolver' who takes care of requests by the criminal authorities.

Kim Soo-hyun targets the Chinese movie market with "Real". He's already succeeded in attracting investments from Ali Baba Pictures. The amount hasn't been revealed yet but it seems to be enough for production costs and various activities in China.
