Singer Kim Yewon released an official apology statement about the incident with actress Lee Tae-im during the making of an MBC TV show.

Through her SNS, Kim Yewon posted a picture of her handwritten letter titled, "I am very sorry for the trouble I have caused you". It has been 3 months since the incident.

"Hello. Kim Yewon here. It's been too long since the incident happened for me to release my letter now. I don't know where to begin".

"I wasn't in a position to come out with an exclusive statement back then when the issue first started as there were many people involved and on the line. I carefully write down what's on my mind and I gather the courage to do what I am doing today.

"I was scared to meet people and wanted to give up "We Got Married" all this time. However, the staff of the show led me well and even Henry helped me out so much that I thought it would be irresponsible of me to give up everything I was doing, so I decided to do my best instead".

"I apologize to anyone who was influenced by my actions and I apologize to Henry, too. I also want to say sorry to the viewers who must've not been very happy to see me on TV and sorry for disappointing you. Lastly, I want to say sorry to Lee Tae-im for what happened as she is older and more experienced than I am while I'm just a beginner in this society".

Meanwhile, Kim Yewon and Lee Tae-im had a verbal argument on the making of an MBC TV show in March this year and additional footages of the fight were released online, making the situation bigger. Lee Tae-im apologized officially and stepped down from all that she was starring in and Kim Yewon apologized through her agency but criticism didn't stop. Now, three months later, Kim Yewon quit "We Just Got Married" and released an official statement of apology:
