Kim You-jung confirmed to co-star with Park Bo-gum in 'Love in the Moonlight'

Kim You-jung has confirmed her cast for KBS 2TV's 'Love in the Moonlight'. She will headline the romance period drama along with Park Bo-gum.

The production team of 'Love in the Moonlight' said, "Kim You-jung has been selected as Hong Ra-on, the female lead" and "She will show off her performances matching her fame as a fairy of period drama'.

Kim You-jung will play Hong Ra-on, who disguises herself as a man. The character is a woman, who became a eunuch accidentally. She will appear in an eunuch robe instead in a dress.

The production team said, "Hong Ra-on is someone who is dissembling and street-smart" and "We believe Kim You-jung can reveal all the charms of her character Hong Ra-on without any reserve".

She will form a loveline with Park Bo-gum in the bickering youthful romance. Park Bo-gum will play Crown Prince Hyo-myeong.

The coming-of-age period romance drama 'Love in the Moonlight' premieres in August this year.
