Know-how of Dubai Character Licensing will be revealed

Si-Beom Kim, the representative of Characterline, has introduced know-how of Dubai Character Licensing.

In 'Dubai Character Licensing' which has held in Dubai from 28th to 30th, he has participated in a seminar which has been prepared as a subsidiary event.

In the seminar, he conducted a lecture called 'International Licensing-Protection of Characters' about successful character licensing strategies based on character licensing and its marketability with Fan Erik Redrupp, the vice-president of Dubailand and Ghanim Ahmed Al Ghanim, the delegate of Glory Horizons.

The exhibition was the first event of character licensing held in the Middle East. Various characters were introduced by participants of twenty-two countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Britain. Korea Culture & Contents Agency (Director: Seok-Man Go) supported five participating enterprises including VOOZ.

He had business consultations with enterprises and educational institutes from overseas. Especially, people from Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia asked for development of character design, marketing text books, and lectures. Some of the enterprises asked for education in Korea.

He expected, "Through this seminar, I could learn that the Middle Eastern countries have big interests about character licensing" and "If we educate and raise them as business partners, Korean enterprises will be easily advanced to the foreign market".

Currently, Si-Beom Kim is doing his business about character licensing and working as an instructor who teaches courses of character production development.
