KOCCA and its counterpart in China signed an MOU

Seek ways for overseas expansion through cooperation and cultural exchanges between private sectors in Korea and China
TF to be created for cooperation mainly on animation, game, and performance
An MOU has been signed by Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA, President & CEO: Lee Jae-woong) and the Bureau for External Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Culture of China at China Cultural Center in Seoul on Sept. 5.

The MOU is designed to encourage the private sector in both countries to play a central role in cultural content exchanges. For this, the two organizations seek ways of promoting content overseas and provide supports.

Accordingly, the agencies plan to expand cooperation further into genres such as animation, game, and performance. In addition, 'TF for Cooperation on Cultural Industry between Korea and China' will be established and operated based on agreement reached between the two parties.
"We will strive to ensure that the private sectors in the two countries communicate and cooperate closely as for exchanges on content regardless of national barriers", said Lee Jae-woong, president of KOCCA.
