Korea's Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) held a 'Culture Day for Multiculture Families' to minimize the struggles between native Koreans and foreigners. The first step in building a new multi-cultured Korea.

At the lobby of KOCCa's site in Mapo, kids were wandering around as their mothers chased after the hyper little ones. The immigrant families, or foreigners married to Koreans gathered for the special day.

The families all had different cultural backgrounds. From Cambodia, Mongolia to the Philippines, though they didn't look like Koreans, they surely spoke fluent Korean as some moms even nagged in Korean.

Over five hours, the families spent time learning the today and yesterdays of Korea's film industry. Following the curator's lead, since theaters built back in the Chosen dynasty to today's computer graphic films, the children and parents took a whole sweep on Korea's century old film business.

During the evening, families enjoyed the premiere on the coming up film, "Leafie, A Hen Into The Wild" a Korean-made animation sponsored by KOCCA. The visitors loved the film as they ended the day with a well made family movie.

Lee ChangKil who spent the day with his Cambodian wife Zoom Tida and four-year-old son, KyungMin shared how he "really appreciated the government to promote such a program for multi-cultured families, it was really worth my time off work".
