KOCCA signs an agreement to promote culture and technology

The Korea Culture and Content Agency (KOCCA, CEO: Suh, Byung-Moon) recently signed an agreement with the Korea Broadcasting Institute (KBI, Director: Yoo, Kyun) and the Korean Film Commission (KFC, Chair: Ahn, Jeong-Sook) on establishing a "Culture and Technology (CT) association" and collaboration projects.

According to the agreement, the three institutions will cooperate on: forming a CT association, exchanging information on the current trends in the CT industry, exchanging knowledge and intellectual properties, co-planning and holding the development projects of CT-related technologies and seminars, and supporting the promotion of CT-related events in Korea.

It is considered that this MOU officially demonstrates that in today's rapidly changing environment with the integration of broadcasting and communication and the advent of digital cinema, representative institutions in film and broadcasting are willing to collaborate with KOCCA in the development of R&D-centered culture-related technologies. Thanks to this MOU, it is expected that the promotion of CT development projects in the broadcasting and film industry will grow rapidly.
