The Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has created a promotional video "With Love, Korea" to foster the nation's image as a friendly and global-minded neighbor coexisting with the international community.

The five-minute video depicts Korea in the form of a letter in which Seo Eun-mi, the 2009 Miss Korea and a student of Yeungnam University, exchanges correspondence with friends from around the world.

It emphasizes the important ties of cooperation, exchange and friendship between Korea and other countries of the world, while introducing Korean traditional and cultural spots as well as economic achievements, including information technology.

Also, the video promotes the G20 Seoul Summit 2010 which will take place in November.

The production has been made into a DVD version and distributed to 166 overseas diplomatic offices, government offices, foreign media plus educational and cultural centers worldwide.

The video is available in 10 languages _ English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, Vietnamese and Korean.

KOCIS was inaugurated as the Overseas Information Center in 1971 to introduce Korean culture to the world and advance the national image of Korea.
