Korea's 1st Male Model Indicted for Sexual Harassment

Korea's first male fashion model, Toh Shin-woo, was indicted for sexually harassing a female staffer in his own agency, Model Center International.

A Seoul district court on Thursday said Toh was ordered to pay a W3 million fine and attend 24 hours of classes on sexual violence (US$1=W1,112).
Toh sexually harassed the staffer on a trip to Milan, Italy in October last year. During the trip, Toh asked the victim, whose identity was not revealed, to come to his hotel room, where he attempted to kiss her on the cheek and mouth three times despite her objections.
Toh denied the charge, claiming he was only greeting the woman the Italian way.
Toh was the first man in Korea to become a fashion model in the 1960s.
