Korean 3D Animation Picture Company - WONDERWORLD STUDIOS - Coproducing 3D Animated Features

Eighth in a series of posts featuring Korean 3D animation and visual FX companies which participated under the KOCCA umbrella at the American Film Market (AFM) 2010 in Santa Monica, Nov. 3-10.

Korean 3D animation picture company, WonderWorld, has completed VFX and 3D animation picture work on 30+ U.S. feature films – including "Scooby Doo 3 & 4" and "Dr. Doolittle 4 & 5" – and has produced such full CG-animated movies as "The Reef".

WonderWorld Studios President/CEO Youngki Lee elaborated on the company's recent participation at the American Film Market: "We are here to find 3D animation and VFX outsourcing jobs from Hollywood and to find a coproduction partner for our 3D animated feature film, 'Air'". Lee presented a three-minute demo reel on "Air" at the AFM.

Asked about the strengths of his company, Lee responded: "We have produced four animated features, including Garfield properties, and have worked on over 30 Hollywood movies' 3D animation and VFX. We have the experience to work with Hollywood, and we are technically focused on creatures, character animation the fur look".
