Korean Actress Kimís Lost Seen on Internet

The Korean actress Kim Yunjin, who is gaining popularity in the United States by virtue of the ABC hit drama series "Lost", will be seen on the Internet.

The ABC (American Broadcasting Company) has recently decided to provide American viewers some of its popular TV dramas through its free internet TV service.

The U.S. broadcasting firm plans to offer free internet TV service with its hit drama series like "Lost" and "Desperate House Wives", according to the Hollywood Report.

The broadcasting company will provide some of its TV hit drama series through high-technology internet service for two months from May, 2006 so as to stop the continuous decline of audience ratings for its TV dramas.

The ABC has already begun to allow the iPod users to download some of its popular shows on the Internet. Other competitive broadcasting firms also started testing services like Video on Demand (VOD) through the Internet immediately after regular broadcasting ends, and some shows are delivered to a number of viewers by special order of video as well.

Along with the free internet service of "Lost" and "Desperate House Wives", ABC is planning to place "Commander in Chief" and "Alias" on its website ( Open the link) a day after the two TV drama series air on TV. Online viewers can select some episodes out of TV shows offered by the ABC. However, Internet users cannot skip commercials in TV dramas. This ABC's operation cost will be managed by sponsors like AT&T, Ford, Universal Picture and seven other companies.

Furthermore, the Walt Disney will launch "Sopanetic", a super-speed internet channel, for its drama fans, on April 17. Every Verizon high-speed internet subscribers can view some ABC drama series through the Sopanetic. The ABC is one of Disney-affiliated firms.
