Korean Animation Film "Wolf Daddy" Wins Japanese Award

The short animation film "Wolf Daddy" directed by Jang Hyeong-yoon won the Hiroshima Award at the 11th Hiroshima Animation Festival, which ended on August 28, according to the Korea Culture and Content Agency on Friday.

The biennial event is one of the world's four premier animation film festivals, along with the Ansi Animation Festival, Ottawa International Animation Festival and the Zagreb International Animation Film Festival.

The 10 minute long animation film features the story of a werewolf novelist who gets to play the role of daddy for a six-year-old girl. Produced in 2005, the animation film won the 2005 Korean Animation Award and a Tokyo International Anime Fair award.
