Korean Celebrities Chosen as People of 2005 in HK

A number of Korean celebrities have been chosen as, people of the year, in Hong Kong.
In a survey by Hong Kong's state-run broadcasting organization, RTHK on some 1,400 people, Korean actress Lee Young-ae clinched the top place, in the women's category.
Lee was the star of the hit TV series' Dae Jang Geum, which aired in Hong Kong this year, setting a record viewership, and stirring a cultural phenomenon known as the Korean Wave.
Also, Korean singer Bi, whose name means "Rain" in English, was named as person of the year, following Hong Kong leader Donald Tsang in the first place.
Since his debut four years ago, Bi has made a name throughout Asia, with his singing and dancing skills.
