Korean Culture Contents knock at the door of Dubai

Korea Culture & Contents Agency (Director: Seok-Man Ko) announced that they will participate in 'International Character Licensing Fair in Dubai' which is held in Dubai of UAE with five Korean character enterprises including Vooz Co., Ltd.

This event, which has been receiving big supports by the government of Dubai, is the first character licensing fair in the areas of Middle East and North Africa. This year, Dubai's character licensing exhibition with a motto 'Be like Dubai', about 250 of specialized character enterprises and people of licensing enterprises and about 10,000 of buyers in each field are expected to be participated.

Especially, this event will deal with general contents like characters, images, TVs, entertainments, brands, logos, sports, and music. This event has been gaining attention from the world because it is a good change that buyers, manufacturers, and agents of innovative character enterprises can meet.

Currently, Korean cultural contents have been gaining attention because Korean dramas have been gaining popularity in the Middle East. Based on Dubai, Korean enterprises have been showing interests of cultural contents businesses in the Middle East.

The agency will be participated in the event for opening up a new market and pre-dominating the new market with Korean contents. The agency has plans which are figuring out Korean contents in Dubai as well as surveying trends in the new markets, Dubai.

In this event, not only various characters from each country will be opened out, but also seminars, workshops, and networking event will be available. In the character licensing seminar, Si-Beom Kim, a representative of Characterline, will conduct a presentation with subject, 'International Character Licensing- Protection of Character'.
