The movie, 'Duelist' gives green lights on entering the US market.

A spokesman of the 'Duelist' promotion agency, 'Yonghwain' said that US national TV, PBS broadcasted the 'Duelist' scenes and interview of director Lee Myung-se on August 23rd.

He added, "This program spread superiority of Korean movie not only in US but also worldwide by telecasting to 250 major cities in 160 countries".

Lee Myung-se, movie director went to US after premier of "Injongsajong Polgotopta (Nowhere To Hide)" (1999).

He has been preparing to make a debut in Hollywood but he came back to Korea after 6 years. Then he produced the movie, 'Duelist'.

'Duelist' starring Ha Ji-won, Gang Dong-won and Ahn Sung-gi is planning to be released on September 8. It is a story of a passionate female detective in Chusun dynasty.

Filming cranked in November 30th last year and took 6 months to complete. This movie illustrates sad love and confrontation among fervent lady detective, 'Nam-soon', mysterious assassinator, 'sad eye' and Nam-soon's partner veteran detective called 'Anpogyo'.
