Korean director's Jennifer Yuh, Park Chan-wook, Kim Jee-woon shake up power Hollywood

Korean directors in Hollywood are becoming prominent.

Jennifer Yuh is directing "Kung Fu Panda 2" coming soon on the 26th as the first Korean-American director in Hollywood Major Studio.

Fat panda Po and his five friends stand against evil Sen who tries to pull the roots of Kung Fu in "Kung Fu Panda 2" which was given much attention at the fact that Korean director Jennifer Yuh led the crew.

Director Jennifer Yuh was acknowledged for starting off with aiding work in Dreamworks and rising to general management and taking part in "Spirit", "Sinbad", and "Madagascar".

Director Park Chan-wook and Kim Jee-woon also entered Hollywood with their outstanding sense and directorial skills.

Director Park Chan-wook directed the vampire movie, "Stalker". This movie is a thriller about the happenings that occur when an uncle visits the house after the passing of a father. The casts include Hollywood's best actors and actresses such as Collin Firth, Nicole Kidman and Mia Wykowski.

Genius of genre movies director Kim Jee-woon holds the megaphone for "The Last Stand". This thriller is about a gang leader who tries to escape from America to Mexico and a guard that chases after him.

Other than that, movie "Priest" based on a Korean comic is due to be released next month and the wind is blowing hard in Korean movies.
