Korean movie 'Duelist' starring Ha Ji-won and Gang Dong-won, was sold with minimum guarantee $5 million (approximately 5.1 billion won) to Japanese movie distribution firm Comstock Ltd.
Comstock Ltd. entered into relation with Korean movie by importing & distributing 'A tale of Two Sister' and is propelling movie 'Duelist's simultaneous release with Korea in Japan on the upcoming August.
Korea Pictures, the investment firm of movie 'Duelist', said movie 'Duelist' made a sale contract on an unprecedented condition that the company receives additional income according to its box office.
This movie is a great work of production cost 8 billion won and currently picture-taking of 30% was proceeded.
Movie 'Duelist' is an action film that described a showdown between a band to plot together and propagators to catch them with the Chosun dynasty setting.
