Korean movies, short lived?

2012/05/24 | 432 views | Permalink | Source

Hollywood blockbuster "Men In Black 3" pushed away Korean movies the moment it was released.

"Everything about my Wife" and "The Taste of Money" were released on the 17th and made a wide gap with "The Avengers", taking over first and second place of the box office.

However, the return of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones was strong. According to the Korean Films Commission on the 25th, "Men In Black 3" recorded a total number of 145,650 audiences on the 24th alone.

Many are wondering how the weekend box office will turn out to be. Will Korean movies regain its ego and beat the American movies?
