Inaugurated in 1970, it ranks as the world's biggest music festival and is held every June in Somerset, England. The festival encompasses everything from rock to electronic music and incorporates various performing arts including circus-like elements. It attracts 180,000 visitors a year.

"I was invited to perform there next year and I gladly accepted", Choi said.

This came after an encounter in October with Malcolm Haynes, who coordinates the lineup for the festival's dance music programs. The two met during a wrap-up party for the Asia Pacific Music Meeting (APaMM), a music festival held in fall to commemorate a local folk legend in Ulsan.

Choi caught Haynes' attention when she gave a 30-minute performance at the party, after which he uploaded links to her videos on his Twitter and Facebook accounts. The invitation to Glastonbury soon followed.
