Lee Dong-wook mentioned that he was against the fedora in "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" when he appeared at the 6th E-Daily W Fiesta with writer Kim Eun-sook who penned the hit drama.

Lee Dong-wook said, "I was against the fedora because I didn't want my hair to get messed up. I didn't think I looked good in a fedora either. You may not think like that because it seemed natural. The director and I discussed seriously about my hair for the historical scenes, too. I've been getting historical drama offers since then".
