Lee Hi Preparing to Release New Album After Long Break

Singer Lee Hi is set to release her first new album in three years.

Her management agency YG Entertainment on Monday unveiled a teaser photo for the album.

As a runner-up on SBS' audition show "K-Pop Star" in 2012, Lee received much attention, leading her to release her debut single soon after that, and another album in 2016.

But until recently, she had remained somewhat distant from the K-pop music scene.

The agency explained that Lee had to take a long break as she wanted to release an album she is fully satisfied with.
