Named "Snail Fund" after the hit song "Snail" by Panic, the money was transferred Friday to the foundation's office in Jongno, Seoul. Lee said "Even if I move slowly like a snail, I will persist to support the children who have to work to provide for their families".

Lee has been regularly donating to the foundation since 2004 and actively seeks ways to help the underprivileged through the institution.

Lee will continue his support. He plans to participate in the I Disagree Campaign, which fights the discrimination against children from low income families and urges the public to contribute to programs to provide safe and nourishing environments for youths.

As a musician, Lee has released three solo albums and has also gained popularity as a radio DJ on "Ten Ten Club". He is also the host of SBS music/talk show "Music Space".
