According to legal professions, Bull's One Cooperation sued Lee and his management for compensation and the court ordered Lee to pay up 700 million won (~US$700,000).

Neither Lee nor his agency objected to this compulsory scheme. The two settled a promise to pay up 350 million twice to Bull's One Coop.

Bull's One is a car appliance company which signed Lee on as a model since 2013 for 250 million won. He advertised agents for jet fuel, car diffusers and more on TV and radio. However, he was then investigated in November for illegal gambling.

He used his cell phone to bet up to 370 million won on foreign soccer teams. He was charged with illegal gambling and was sentenced to imprisonment for 6 months and under probation for 1 year.

Due to this matter, Lee stopped appearing in all TV shows.

Bull's One company image decreased greatly due to Lee's gambling issue and advertisements with his appearances couldn't be used anymore.

Bull's One's contract with Lee Soo-geun states that any social problems caused by him will result in penalties for violation of contract and a compensation of 20 billion won for advertisements. The court adjusted the amount to 700 million won.
