Lee Tae-ran to Star in Chinese Drama

Actress Lee Tae-ran has been cast in a Chinese TV drama. Lee's management agency Butterfly Entertainment announced on Monday that she was picked for the leading female role in the series "Allure of the Skies", being produced by Guangdong Southern Media Group.
The 25-episode series is a love story that goes beyond national boundaries. Tan Kai, a popular actor in the Chinese-speaking world who recently starred in the hit TV series "The Myth", will star alongside Lee. The director is Xingang Liu, who also helmed the drama "Five Star Hotel".
Lee said, "I think this opportunity will help me grow as an actress since it gives me a chance to introduce myself to the Chinese audience by collaborating with a great director. I'll do my best to impress the viewers".
Shooting on "Allure of the Skies" started in the beginning of this month in Zhuhai and Guangzhou.
