Lee Young-ae Joins Gucci's Global Campaign for Women's Empowerment

Actress Lee Young-ae was appointed a member of an advisory board for a global campaign run by Gucci on March 8 to mark International Women's Day, the company said on Monday.

Lee is the first Asian actress to ever be named a board member for the "Chime for Change" campaign, which was created in February last year to "raise funds and awareness for projects promoting education, health, and justice for girls and women" around the world.

Other members include former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, founder of the Huffington Post Arianna Huffington, Madonna and Julia Roberts.
