TV CHOSUN's new miniseries "Becoming Witch" (directed by Kim Yoon-cheol/written by Park Pa-ran/production High Ground, JS Pictures, Great Story) is a mystery black comedy about three women who want to kill at the age of forty where they've lived half their lives and have half more of life to live. Lee Yu-ri (Gong Ma-ri), Lee Min-young (Chae Hee-soo) and Yoon So-yi (Yang Jin-ah) each have made a strong impression on the work, drawing keen attention from the news of the casting.

Director Kim Yoon-cheol and writer Park Pa-ran, as well as leading actors such as Lee Yu-ri, Lee Min-young, Yoon So-yi, Jung Sang-hoon (Lee Nak-goo), Kim Young-jae (Nam Moo-yeong), and Ryu Yeon-seok (Kim Woo-bin) gathered at the script reading site. First of all, Lee Yu-ri, who plays Gong Ma-ri, a stay-at-home mom with a celebrity husband and a gifted daughter, led the flow of the play with neat diction and realistic acting. Among them, Lee Yu-ri's change in expression from a good wife to a 21st-century witch at the husband's divorce declaration made her admirable.

Lee Min-young, who plays Chae Hee-soo, the eldest daughter-in-law of a chaebol family, drew exclamations by portraying her hidden inner confusion in a calm atmosphere with delicate emotional acting. She perfectly expressed the wounds of Chae Hee-soo's character due to her husband's long indifference, although everyone envies her.

Yoon So-yi, who plays Yang Jin-ah, a friend of Gong Ma-ri and Chae Hee-soo and spends her widow days as freely as possible with her husband's death insurance, doubled the character's charm with her unique lively smile. At the same time, her firm eyes, which show determination to protect happiness that has finally come, raised interest in the character.
