"Lies of Lies" Writer Kim Ji-eun-III, "I Wanted to Deal With the Sincerity of Love"

Writer Kim Ji-eun-III of the new Channel A drama "Lies of Lies" showed her attachment for the drama.

"Lies of Lies" is a story of true love that begins with a woman's lies to become her own daughter's stepmother starring Lee Yu-ri, Yeon Jung-hoon, Lee Il-hwa and others.

"Lies of Lies" has a catchy story, along with the passionate performances of luxury actors. Kim Ji-eun-III, the writer of "Lies of Lies" expressed her intention to write, saying, "It is said to be an era of change and I wanted to talk about the unchanging emotions in the ever-changing world".

She added, ""Lies of Lies" is paradoxically true. In a world where a woman falsely armed to protect her daughter, it is a story that encounters the truth", she said, explaining the meaning of the drama's title. "I want to show my love as a mother and love as a woman in conflict through a woman named Ji Eun-soo (Lee Yu-ri)", she said. "I wanted to deal with the sincerity of love that I had forgotten for a while".

Channel A's new Friday-Saturday drama "Lies of Lies" will premiere on Channel A at 10:50PM on September 4th and will be exclusively released online on OTT platform Wavve at the same time.
