Amid all the saddening news dominating K-drama newsfeeds, actor Jo Hyun-jae brings something to celebrate with the announcement that he will be ringing the wedding bells this month.

On March 18^th, Jo Hyun-jae posted a lengthy letter on his fan club website, announcing his wedding. The letter reads:

"My dearest fans, Hello! It's Jo Hyun-jae here. Long time no talk.

Just like that, the cold winter leaves and warm spring visits us. Since I started my career as an actor, 18 years have passed. While I was living my life as an actor, I was happy because of you and could endure through all the struggles and hardships thanks to you. I'm always grateful for all of your constant and precious love.

Today I want to announce a personal news to my dear fans. I've spent the last 5 years trying to get to know and grow love with someone who has supported me and became a source ofstrength to me like you all are to me. That is why, as we prepare to come together and be married, I wanted to let you know before anyone else.

Since this is not related to my work and my fiancée is not a celebrity, the news got to you a bit late but I hope you will be able to understand. I've spent the time full of trust and love with you all until now, and now I want to do the same as I build my family. As I greet this important event in life, I will think of this as a new start and give my best both to my family and as an actor. Dear fans who are my everlasting light and happiness, please continue to support me.
