[Lily's Take] Lee Seung-gi and Shim Eun-kyung's "The Princess and the Matchmaker" Will Finally Be Released

A CJ Entertainment associate revealed that movie the "The Princess and the Matchmaker" confirmed its release date for February 28th.

"The Princess and the Matchmaker" is a historical romantic comedy about a marital compatibility. Shim Eun-kyung plays the role of Princess Song-hwa who must marry one of four candidates, each with a different horoscope, regardless of her opinion. Meanwhile, actor Lee Seung-gi will play a role of Seo Do-yoon, who's an imperial-appointed genius diviner. Using his knowledge and skills, he must find out which candidate will match the princess's divine destiny and result in marital harmony.
"The Princess and the Matchmaker" had to delay the release date due to many scheduling conflicts and decided to release the movie after actor Lee Seung-gi returned from his military duty.
"The Princess and the Matchmaker" is part of the divine science trilogy – being the second from the series. Though the stories don't necessarily relate to one another, the three movies are themed with the divine science of Joseon dynasty. Starting with "The Face Reader", "The Princess and the Matchmaker" is next and "Fengshui" will end the trilogy.
