On February 26th, Oh Dal-soo broke his 6 days of silence since the scandal broke out and denied the accusation with an official statement. Which reads:

"First of all, I'm sorry to many people who were concerned over such dishonorable news. On the 15th and 19th, I was accuse dby an anonymous user claiming to have been assaulted by me and had the post deleted few hours later. I want to share my side regarding this incident. Such claim is absolutely not true. I did not take such actions.

When I read the news featuring the post and the anonymous user, I gave myself a time to reflect my actions in the early 90's with a desperate heart. Like that, I calmly recalled back to 30 years ago when I was in my 20's and I did not take such actions. However, as I share my side this time, I would like to sincerely apologize for taking such a long time to respond even after everyone's demand and worries. The reason being, I had a filming schedule for a movie till the 24th. As an actor, my foremost responsibility was to properly end my share of filming and thought that would be the best way to handle this without being a burden to the staff of the movie. Thankfully, I was able to finish up my part that I promised to all the staff members and cast members".

As his official statement was released, the fire seemed to have going off a bit for a while. However, another victim appeared on the news without covering her face or name. Actress Uhm Ji-young, who was associated in the same theater group Oh Dal-soo was in. This is her testimony:

"In the early 2000's, I met Oh Dal-soo along with the other members of the theater group in Busan. When an audition spot opened up in Seoul in 2003, I sought advice from him. He said since his face is known to others and he is shy about it, let's go somewhere else to talk, which was a motel. Since he was divorced and didn't have a house, he was staying there. He said, "Let's talk comfortably here. And take a shower since it's hot". He put his hands on my body to take off my clothes and pushed himself on me in the bathroom. Thankfully, I was able to escape before getting raped".

Regarding Oh Dal-soo's official statement, denying the accusation, she said:

"When I saw the post by that anonymous user, I waited my time thinking I can finally talk about what happened. When that user took down her post due to the witch-hunt by the netizens, I thought Oh Dal-soo would apologize but he treated everything as if nothing happened just because she did not reveal herself and stayed anonymous. Right now, I'm teaching acting at a cram school. My students texted me their excitement of going into Film and Musical major and I was worried that they might face the same situation I was once put in. I was afraid if I stayed anonymous, I'll be treated like I'm non-existent as well. When the reporter asked to talk face to face, I had to step up to the plate.

I don't know the names of the other victims but I've heard there are many more. I'm sure there are other women who are watching this. It's hard and I'm sorry but I wish they will stand up. I want to stop Oh Dal-soo saying this didn't happen because there's no evidence and he doesn't recall".

Upon this news, drama "My Mister" team decided to go without the actor. Their official statement reads:

"Hello. "My Mister" team would like to share the official statement regarding actor Oh Dal-soo's incident. After discussing the matter with the actor and the company, it was decided that Oh Dal-soo will be leaving the drama. "My Mister" will quickly take a follow-up action in order to smoothly operate the making of the drama. We will be putting our best effort so we can present a great show to the viewers. Thank you".
