[Lily's Take] Ok Taecyeon becomes a recruit trainer in the military

On November 1st, actor Ok Taecyeon's agency JYP Entertainment announced Ok Taecyeon's current status.

According to JYP Entertainment, Ok Taecyeon was promoted as a recruit trainer for the 9th Infantry Division in the army, also known as the "White Horse".
On September 4th, Ok Taecyeon entered the recruit training facility of the 9th division. Due to his outstanding performance and participation in the basic training, he was assigned as a new recruit trainer this month.
His diligence and honesty is an exemplary as he chose to serve in the Korean military even though he has U.S permanent residency, which exempts him from duty. Furthermore, when his herniated disc became a problem, he received a surgery so he could go on active duty. Many netizens praised him as many of South Korean celebrities use numerous reasons for exemption while Ok Taecyeon was actively enthusiastic about serving the country.
