Popular teen actress Moon Geun-young plays an ethnic Korean-Chinese woman named Jang Chae-lin who lives in Yonbian, China, and comes to Seoul to learn dance sport, or competitive dance. Jang arrives at Inchon harbor with her elder sister's passport, but when the fraud is discovered, she comes under the grip of human traffickers. She is about to be sold to a bar when a former national dance athlete, played by Park Gun-hyung, saves her. Jang learns how to dance from him, and they fall in love as they form a new partnership for a competition. Although the story develops in an old-fashioned style, the film is still entertaining as the young actress does an impressive job displaying her newly mastered dance skills as well as imitating the Yongbian dialect in this romantic film. Tickets: 3,000 won. Located near Anguk Station on subway line 3. For details, call (02) 734-9539 or go to http://www.seoulselection.com
