Diagrid is a steel design for large buildings that creates triangular structures with diagonal support beams.
Lotte Engineering and Construction said the structure will support the 107th through 123rd floors. "Once completed, it will be the tallest building in the world with a diagrid structure", a spokesman claimed.
The spire will be completed at the end of next year.
