"The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" is a criminal action movie about a mob boss who survived from being a target of a serial killer and a detective who teams up with him to catch the criminal.

Ma Dong-seok is back without laughter. Last year, he starred in the movie "The Outlaws", which drew 6.88 million audience members and is coming back with "Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days" this summer. In "The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil", he takes on the role of a mob boss named Jang Dong-soo from the Cheonan district. Jang Dong-soo is the only survivor and witness to a series of murders and aids in bringing the killer down.

Kim Mu-yeol from "Northern Limit Line", "Forgotten" and "Illang : The Wolf Brigade", plays the role of Jeong Tae-seok, a detective from the Cheonan Police Headquarters. Jeong Tae-seok never loses a criminal and hate the mob, but his desire to catch the serial killer makes him join up with a mob boss.

In the role of Kang Kyeong-ho, the serial killer Ma Dong-seok and Kim Mu-yeol are after, is Kim Sung-kyu. Kim Sung-kyu played Yang-tae, one of Jang Chen's (Yoon Kye-sang) men in the movie "The Outlaws". He made a strong impression of himself and landed a role in a Netflix drama called "Kingdom". Kang Kyeong-ho is a cruel killer without a pattern and his crimes are so perfect even the police don't realize he's a serial killer. However, he provokes Jang Dong-soo and makes a crack in his perfection.

"The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" cranks in on the 31st of July.
