Made in Korea Products a Big Hit in Jordan

In Jordan, Korean products are receiving rave reviews for their quality and low cost.
Figures show that Jordan has been the number one importer of Korean second-hand cars for four years in a row, accounting for 31.9 percent of that market last year alone.
As a result, Korean-made autos take up 60 percent of all the cars on the road in Jordan.
The reason behind the surging popularity is the booming trend of owning one's own car in the country, the good gas mileage Korean cars get, and their low cost compared to Japanese vehicles.
In addition, Korean electronics goods like TVs and air conditioners also make up about 60 percent of the market in Jordan.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in Amman says that Jordan is also helping to promote Korean brands by actively exporting used Korean cars to neighboring countries like Iraq and Libya.
