All vehicles will be prohibited in the 550-m strip from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. The strip has been pedestrian-only zone on alternating Sundays since 2013.

Camping tents and airbeds will be placed on the thoroughfare. There will be bookshelves where visitors can work or read. Picnics will also be allowed.

A concert will be held this Sunday in celebration of the full opening on Sundays.

Some 40 buses that run on the thoroughfare will be detoured, while three bus stops there will be closed.

The city government also plans to station 80 police officers and safety guards at a dozen intersections and crosswalks nearby.
