Meet filmmakers at screenings

Cinephiles will be able to meet directors in special Q&A sessions following film screenings around Seoul.

At 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Cinus Isu, director Kim Jong-kwan will join the audience after the screening of "Come, Closer".

Starring K-pop star-turned-actor Yoon Kye-sang, the film provides an incisive observation of romances and breakups between disillusioned modern men and women. Visit www.cinus.co.kr.

At 6:10 p.m. on Feb. 23 at CGV Apgujeong, director Jeon Kyu-hwan will hold a discussion about his controversial drama "Animal Town".

The film, which candidly portrays social ills such as the sexual abuse of young children, is slated for a nationwide release on March 10.

Jeon's latest film "Dance Town" recently showed in the Berlin Film Festival's Panorama section, while the Black Movie Geneva International Film Festival is holding a retrospective of his works this week.

The special screening of "Animal Town" is part of Cinema Digital Seoul Film Festival's CinDi Jam New Year event. Visit http://www.cindi.or.kr for more information.
