Kwon Yul played the role of Goo Tae-man, a former member of the Taekwondo national team and head of the Human Rights Center of the Sports Association, in the tvN drama "Mental Coach Jegal". Goo Tae-man is a person who confronts his junior Je Gal-gil (Jung Woo), a Taekwondo player, and is ambitious to rise to a higher position.

Human Entertainment, its agency, held an interview with Kwon Yul to mark the end of the show. First of all, Kwon Yul said, "I was able to feel mentally stable and enjoyable during the filming. It's a shame that the lingering feeling is still there", he said.

What was the most important part of playing Goo Tae-man? Kwon Yul explained, "I thought a lot about expressing my confidence in my life as a sportsman all my life, and I paid attention to the atmosphere that allows Goo Tae-man's external energy to look bold and aggressive".

As for the suit fashion, which was different every time, he said, "We chose three-piece suits so that I can feel that I am a person who develops political ambitions", adding, "I styled them so that Goo Tae-man looked overly powerful".

Kwon Yul said, "Looking back after time, I am confident that this drama will be a proud and heartwarming moment for viewers".
