Miss A's Bae Suzy eked out a new online record Friday by racking up 1 million Twitter followers, according to her management agency JYP Entertainment.

"Bae Suzy became the first Korean female to have one million followers", a spokesman of the agency said, adding that she "ranked ninth among Twitter users in terms of followers in Korea, becoming the first female to fall inside the top 10".
The 18-year-old singer and actress said, "I can't believe it. I owe it all to all the support and love of my fans".
